弗朗西斯·司各特·菲茨杰拉德是美国二十世纪初著名小说家，被誉为爵士时代的代言人，《了不起的盖茨比》是他的代表作。幽默作为日常生活交际中不可或缺的一部分，在语言学领域也引起了学者们广泛的关注。幽默使人笑口常开，调节人际关系，使生活更加丰富有趣。其特点主要表现为机智、自嘲，调侃等。幽默的产生与语言内在的规则有着密切的联系，如合作原则。本文以情景喜剧《生活大爆炸》中的对话为例，以合作原则为理论基础，探索剧中违反合作原则而产生的话语幽默。希望通过本文的研究，帮助大家更好地理解和欣赏《生活大爆炸》中的言语幽默。
