摘要

近年来，随着全球化纵深发展，文化交流和传播愈加频繁。作为大众所喜闻乐见的形式，电影在文化传播方面的作用非常大。用本国语言翻译的字幕承载着阐释电影文化背景，使电影更加通俗易懂的重要任务，字幕翻译的重要性不言而喻。字幕翻译会不断将欠佳的版本淘汰，存在着明显的“适者生存”。因此本文基于生态翻译学视角，对比电影大作《霍比特人：未知之旅》在目前的爱奇艺及被淘汰两种版本的字幕翻译，分析该译者在电影生态环境下做出的适应性选择，进而对电影字幕文本做进一步的认识和评析，指出生态翻译学理论在分析电影字幕翻译实践中具有指导性和解释力。
