Analysis about the Characteristics and Translation of Contracts --- Based on Newmark’s Correlative Approach to Translation_英语论文

摘要

随着国际交流日渐频繁，作为商务贸易来往的主要媒介之一，商务合同正发挥着越来越重要的作用。随着对外贸易的增加，各行业接触的合同也越来越多。合同不是普通文件，它是法律文件的一种。长期以来人们认为法律文件的翻译应当严格直译。另外，合同涉及诸多术语，缩写，行话，这些都是不可忽视的。这些要求我们对于合同要特殊对待。对此本文先分析了合同特点，让读者先对合同有一个了解。但随着经济的发展，人们对合同翻译有了更高的要求。对此要求译者同时还应考虑不同的语言表达特点和文化背景。纽马克针对这种情况提出了一个新的理论：关联翻译法。关联翻译法结合了他之前提出的语义翻译法和交际翻译法，是一个创新。但用关联法翻译合同的研究并不多。所以本文在关联翻译法的基础上主要分析合同的词汇和句子。希望对商务合同翻译有一些的作用。
