摘要

随着中外文化间交流的不断发展，大量的外国影视剧传入国内，尤其是来自西方国家的影视剧,因此字幕翻译的需求也不断提高。在此背景下，出现了许多网络字幕翻译组。值得肯定的是，这些字幕组满足了大量的字幕翻译需求，然而，由于字幕组内翻译人员多是依据兴趣聚集的志愿者，因此不可避免存在翻译水平参差不齐的现象，导致字幕译文的处理出现了一些失误。基于尤金奈达的功能对等理论，同时结合对字幕翻译的研究，本文收集整理了《了不起的麦瑟尔夫人》的字幕翻译失误案例，分别从词汇，文体以及文化三个层面对字幕存在的误译进行分析并提供修改参考，同时就实现这三个层面的对等总结了一些翻译建议，进而指出功能对等对字幕翻译的实践指导意义，希望可以在今后为译者翻译此类文本提供参考，减少翻译失误以提高字幕翻译质量。
