摘要

中性词语义偏移现象是语言学研究的一个热点，早有学者指出，文化语境是导致偏移现象产生的重要因素。跨文化交际中，因语言和文化规则不同，在一种语言中的意义在另一种语言中会产生一定的差异和偏移，而翻译中的语义偏移实际是译者为顺应文化语境下的再创造。中性词本身不具有任何感情色彩，而因文化差异，同个词语被赋予了不同的文化内涵，因此译者需要在对源语和目标语的文化了解的基础上，充分理解源语内涵，再通过不同的方式，有效地使其表达，以达到语义对等。研究以文化语境顺应论为理论框架，研究文化语境对中性词语义偏移及其翻译产生的影响。首先在顺应论理论下探讨其对语义偏移研究的可行性；其次从思维模式和文化背景差异的角度探讨缺少文化语境考虑导致的误译，从而分别研究其对跨文化交际中理解和表达产生的作用；最后从历史、社会、宗教和习俗四方面展开研究如何顺应文化，并提出语义偏移的两种翻译策略，从而更好地把握语义偏移，进行有效的跨文化翻译。
