摘要

科技英语作为一种功能型的写作文体,是在通用英语的基础上发展起来的，由于题材内容和使用方式的特殊性而形成了语言、词汇和语法方面的特点,科技英语作为一种特殊的文体受到人们的重视,对科技英语的研究也日渐加深。名词化作为语法隐喻的主要手段，其特征就是客观、严肃和准确，因此在科技英语语篇中是个极为普遍的现象。随着研究的不断深入,学者逐渐将注意力集中在名词化领域。

名词化是科技语篇的重要特征，在科技语篇中扮演着重要功能。通过分析和探讨科技英语文本中名词化现象及其翻译，可从某种角度将英语看作一种静态语言，名词结构在句子中占据了重要的位置，且位置一般靠前，而大部分相对比较次要的修饰或解释成分通常置于后面，即对名词起修饰或解释的作用。因此，理解和翻译好名词至关重要，研究科技翻译中的名词化可以帮助我们加深对科技语篇的理解，从而更好地为科技英语翻译服务。

本论文首先对科技英语进行概述，其次从名词化的理论基础入手，分析科技英语中名词化的类别和特征，探讨名词化在科技语篇中的作用，最后通过实例分析讨论科技英语中名词化翻译的翻译对策。
