C-E Translation of Culture-loaded Words in Wolf Totem from the Perspective of Skopos Theory_英语论文

摘要

每个国家的语言都包含许多富含民族文化特征的词语,这些词被称为文化负载词。文化负载词,作为多样文化内涵的载体,能很好地展现一个民族或一个地区的多彩文化。然而,大量文化负载词的出现给译者翻译工作带来了很大的困难。研究文化负载词的翻译不仅有助于语言学的发展,也有助于跨文化交际。姜戎所著的《狼图腾》是一部描写狼和中国文化的奇书，自出版后，吸引了国内外众多读者，其中大量的文化负载词成为翻译的焦点和难点。

本文从功能目的论入手，以葛浩文先生的英文译本Wolf Totem为文本基础，探讨文学作品中文化负载词的翻译，提出了直译、意译、音译、直译加注等翻译方法，并探究了葛浩文先生的翻译技巧，希望能促进蒙古文化和狼文化在全球的传播。
