摘要

随着中国加入WTO, 中国和世界各国在经济和贸易方面的往来越来越频繁，商务英语信函的使用也更为广泛。商务英语信函在国际贸易交往中扮演者不可替代的角色，高质量的商务信函可以帮助企业提升企业形象，与其他企业建立良好的贸易关系，因此对商务英语信函的研究具有重要的意义。而礼貌用语作为英语商务信函的典型特点，更是值得研究的课题。

本文从顾曰国教授的礼貌原则的视角，结合大量商务信函的翻译实例，研究商务英语信函中礼貌用语的翻译策略，探讨异化和归化策略在商务信函翻译中的使用，旨在为商务英语信函的翻译提供一些参考。
