摘要

电影片名翻译意义重大。精彩的片名翻译不仅确切地传递影片信息，符合目标语观众的审美标准，更有助于打开国际市场，成就丰厚的商业利润。然而中文电影英译在翻译界尚缺乏足够的关注和研究。

本文在功能目的论的指导下，通过对电影片名三种功能的研究，结合系列翻译案例，探析国产电影片名英译较为行之有效的翻译策略或翻译方法，希望国产电影的英译片名能够更好地吸引国外市场，被外国受众接受的同时也能体现和弘扬中国的特色文化。
