摘要 

《芒果街上的小屋》是美国作家桑德拉·希斯内罗丝创作的长篇小说，书中的四十四个片段独白相互衔接，以诗化的语言描述了芒果街上墨裔移民群落中一个敏感而又羞涩的少女埃斯佩朗莎如何成长为具有独立思考意识的女性的一个历程。结合《芒果街上的小屋》创作的时代背景，本课题将阐述有关叙事观的基本理论，并且分别从儿童视角，女性视角和文化视角分析该理论在作品中的运用，进而分析其中多重视角的作用，反映墨裔女性面临的性别和种族歧视等问题，深层次去揭示当时墨裔女性在美国的成长之道。最终我们将得出这样的结论：女性要想拥有社会的发言权，必须首先拥有独立人格，不依附于男权；边缘群体要想融入美国社会，必须客观地对待自己的文化，不能忘记自己的根。
