摘要

约翰•奥斯汀最早提出言语行为理论,指出语言的功能除了进行说明、陈述、描写外, 还可以实施某种行为。随后,塞尔在奥斯汀理论的基础上继续完善此理论并应用于语言研究。作为语用学中最重要的理论之一,言语行为也逐渐被广泛应用于话语分析、语言教学或文学批评等不同领域的研究中。《动物农场》是英国小说家乔治•奥威尔于1945年完成的一部政治讽喻小说,反讽是该小说的主要特色。该作品以其幽默讽刺的语言风格,深刻地表达了作者对极权主义的思考与批判。本文将通过语用学中的言语行为理论从宏观和微观的角度分别研究《动物农场》中的反讽言语行为,深化人们对作品讽刺艺术特色的感受, 使人们更深刻掌握小说的主旨。同时,也进一步证明用言语行为理论分析文学作品的可行性与价值。
