An Analysis of the Differences Between Chinese and American Family Values by Comparing Growing Pains and Home With Kids_英语论文

摘要

家庭是人类社会最基本的组成单位之一，家庭价值观直接影响其成员在社会中的言语和行为。中美两国受不同历史文化背景，经济模式和宗教信仰等因素影响，在家庭价值观上表现出很多差异。通过对比分析《家有儿女》和《成长的烦恼》这两部中美家庭情景剧，并结合剧中案例分析和生活实际，得出中美两国在家庭价值观上有如下不同：首先，就家庭伦理观而言，中国家庭讲共性，人情味十足; 而美国家庭重视个性, 理性色彩浓厚。 其次，就家庭教育观而言，中国的家庭教育是一种成才教育，目的是让孩子将来能有个好前途；而美国的家庭教育更重视培养孩子的独立性，以及将来适应社会的能力。所以，为了完善中国家庭价值观，中国家庭可以结合当代国情，汲取美国家庭观中精华部分，为己所用。
