从韩礼德的三大元功能看英语诗歌的翻译-以庞德的《在地铁站》为例_英语论文

Taking an Example of Ezra Pound’s in a Station of the Metro

摘要

韩礼德提出的语言元功能理论，一直是语言学中十分重要的一个研究板块。在之前的研究中，各个学者更偏向于其在语言学中的学术性研究，对于其与翻译的结合研究较少。基于此背景，我开始研究在韩礼德元功能理论下的英汉互译，由于诗歌的独特性，我选取了庞德的《在地铁站》作为研究例举。

本篇论文主要通过对比法、例证法等方法，具体以每一个功能分析元功能理论在英汉互译上所起的作用，从而可以知道其是否能为英汉互译提供帮助。

本文的第一部分第一章节简要介绍了研究背景，研究意义和篇章结构的基本情况，第二章主要针对写作过程相关文献及知识进行了介绍，第三章具体介绍了韩礼德其三大元功能理论，第四章将诗歌与元功能理论相互结合进而具体分析，最后一张为总结。

Abstract

The metafunction theory which was proposed by Halliday, is a very important part in Linguistics study. In former researches, most scholars focused more on the theory’s academic study, while paid less attention to its combination with translation.

Based on this, I began to study the translation between English and Chinese with the metafunction theory. As the poetry is a unique genre of literature, I choose in a station of the metro which was wrote by Ezra Pond as an example. I use some means, like antithesis and example illustration, to analyse the three metafunctions and their influences on translation in detail. And thus to know whether the metafunctions can provide help to translation between English and Chinese. 

In the first part, I traduced basic information about the background, meaning and structure about this thesis. And in the second part, I introduced relevant literature review and knowledge. The third part introduced Halliday and the three metafunctions in detail. And the fourth part is wrote to combine the poem and the three metafunction and gave a analysis to it. And the last part is a part to summarize.
