如何教授初中英语阅读课词汇_英语论文
How to teach vocabulary in junior high schools’ reading classes
摘要
词汇教学是外语阅读教学的基础,但是初中英语阅读教学的词汇教学对很多学校来说,却始终都是个问题。一方面,从教师角度来说,教师采用传统且单一的教学方法, 在教阅读词汇时忽略语境、脱离语境,不注重传授学习策略方法等。另一方面,从学生的角度来说,学生缺乏学习兴趣以及没有意识到英语词汇的重要性等。
基于词汇教学的相关理论,结合初中英语教材Go for It,本文提出五种词汇教学办法----可视法、同义词及反义词法、词典辅助法、语境猜测法、情景设置法,以期用这些方法帮助初中英语教师提高词汇教学的有效性。

Abstract
Vocabulary teaching is the basis of reading classes in foreign languages, but it’s always a problem for junior high schools. On one hand, from teachers’ perspective, teachers adopt single and traditional teaching methods, neglect the context and teach in isolation and pay less attention to teach students vocabulary learning strategies. On the other hand, from students’ perspective, students are lacking in interest and they aren’t aware of the importance of vocabulary.
Based on the related theories of vocabulary teaching and combining with the text book Go for It! ,this paper provides some vocabulary teaching methods , such as using visual techniques, using synonyms and antonyms, using a dictionary, guessing from context and creating situational context, in the hope that the effectiveness of vocabulary teaching in junior high schools can be improved.
