论电影《花木兰》中折射出的中美文化差异

An Analysis of Cultural Differences between China and America Reflected in Mulan

摘要

在当今世界“地球村”中，不同国家文化相互传播，相互学习。 由于中美两国有着不同的文化背景，他们的等级观念，文化价值观以及思维方式也迥然不同。了解中美文化差异将有利于人们尊重，利用这些差异，从而促进国际之间的交流。 在迪士尼电影《花木兰》中，中澎文化皌嶮异造成了花木兰形象的不同。通过比较电影中花木兰的人物性格以及剧情细节，本文将从意识形态，等级思想，女性社会地位差异等方面分析动画电影《花木兰》中所折射出的中美文化差异。

Abstract

In the “global village” today, cultures of different countries can disseminate and learn from each other. Owing to differences in cultural background, there are huge differences in obsession of hierarchy, cultural values, and mode of thinking between China and America. Understanding of Sino-US cultural differences will help people respect and utilize these differences so as to facilitate international communication. In Disney animated film Mulan, cultural differences between China and US lead to disparities in Hua Mulan’s image. By comparing Mulan’s personality and story line, this article sets out to analyze cultural differences between China and America reflected in Mulan in terms of ideological differences, differences in ideology of hierarchy and differences in women’s status in society.
