课前预习在英语教学的有效应用_英语论文
Making Effective Use of Preview in EFL Teaching and Learning
摘要
课前预习作为二语或外语学习教学的铺垫,不仅让学生学会独立解决一些力所能及的问题, 同时也有助于发现学习中的重点、难点, 是培养学生自主学习能力的重要手段之一。进行有效的课前预习受到多重因素的影响,其中包括学习者的学习风格、学习动机、学习策略的差异,教师预习指导的充分与否,以及教师对于预习完成情况的检查与反馈。然而,文献研究和实证调查都显示,在我国的英语教学中,课前预习一直没有受到应有的重视。很多教师仅将其看成是一个可有可无的部分,简单布置,疏于指导,直接影响了课堂教学的效果。教师应当充分认识到课前预习作为一种教学资源的宝贵价值,积极反思日常教学行为所存在的问题及原因,根据学习者的特点和需求提供明确具体的指导,并及时进行检查与反馈,从而创建高效课堂,培养学生进行自主学习的能力,最终为学会终身学习奠定基础。

Abstract
Preview as a necessary preparation for classroom teaching and learning, not only helps improve their problem-solving skills, but also aims to cultivate their autonomous learning ability. Effective use of preview is influenced by multiple factors, including the learners' learning style, learning motivation and learning strategies, teachers’ guidance for preview as well as timely inspection and feedback of preview. However, research findings based on literature review and empirical study consistently prove that the use of preview fails to gain adequate attention it deserves. Many teachers just consider it as a dispensable part which is assigned carelessly without proper guidance, directly lowering the effectiveness of classroom teaching and learning. Teachers should fully recognize the value of preview in English teaching and learning, seriously reflect on existing problems in the daily teaching behavior as well as their causes, provide specific guidance according to the characteristics and needs of the learners and give inspection and feedback in time so as to create effective classroom teaching, train students' ability of autonomous learning and ultimately lay a foundation for their lifelong learning.
