牛津教材的编写意图与教师的实际使用情况的差距分析_英语论文
The Oxford Textbook: A Gap Between Compilers and EFL Teachers
摘要
在中国的英语教学课堂(尤其是中小学)中,教材是学生学习英语的主要载体,在应试教育的形势下,教师往往是根据考纲进行教学,使用灌输式教学方式。事实上,牛津英语教材话题丰富、结构合理、注重学生的创新和实践能力,但是其大部分使用价值都被教师舍弃了。在课堂实践中,教师尚未了解编者意图,未能合理使用教材,挖掘其潜在价值。本文就牛津教材的编写意图与教师的实际使用情况的差距行了探讨。

Abstract
English teaching in Chinese class, especially in primary and secondary schools, textbooks are the most important carriers in learning English. Under the examination-oriented situation, EFL teachers often teach according to the examination outline, instilling the English knowledge into students’ mind. In fact, the Oxford textbooks are rich in topics, and proper in compiling structure, which also pay much attention to students’ abilities in creating and practicing, but most use value has been dropped by the ESL teachers. In real class teaching practice, there is a gap between compiler and ESL teachers. So the author will discuss the teaching material of Oxford Textbook.
