Fairy Tale Telling Method in Primary School English Teaching

摘要

鉴于英语在中国进一步加深对外交往、合作中发挥至关重要的作用,英语教育在义务教育中的地位也日益突出。童话故事是指为儿童创作的,具有良好寓意的文学作品。近几年来,教育学家将一些经典的童话故事纳入我国小学英语教材。基于这样的现实情况,本文将针对童话故事教学法在现今小学英语教育中运用的现状进行简要的研讨探究。

Abstract

As English plays a significant role in furthering exchanges and cooperation between China and foreign countries, English gains a much higher status in compulsory education than it did in the past. Fairy tales normally refer to stories that are written for children about morals or stories with good implied meaning. Recently, some classical fairy tales have been added into our primary school English textbooks. In view of the above facts, this paper will generally discuss the using of Fairy Tale Telling Method in primary school English teaching.
