摘要

本文基于具有代表性的两部中美情景剧——《老友记》和《爱情公寓》，运用对比的手法，比较其中的日常对话，分析其问候语和称赞语之间的差别，旨在探究中美文化体现在日常对话中的差异，并试图解释造成差异的原因。本文从政治、经济和文化三个方面分析了产生差异的原因。本篇论文的研究意义在于不仅使中国的英语学习者了解中美文化之间更多的差异并与外国友人进行有意义的对话，还使得他们的口语更流利、更准确、更地道。
