奈达提出的等效翻译理论对翻译具有重大的意义。 本文介绍了等效翻译理论的基本概念、主要特点、重要意义和该理论的三大原则，即翻译要关注信息的传递、识别作者的意图和考虑读者的类型，着重探讨了翻译时如何利用该三原则进行词句的选择。

Abstract

Nida's theory of equivalence translation has great significance to the translation. This paper introduces the basic concepts, main features, significance and the three principles of the theory of equivalence translation, that is, the translation should pay attention to the transmission of information, identify the author's intention and consider the type of readers. It focuses on how to use the three principles to select the words and sentences in translating.
