English Listening Teaching for Primary School Students: Difficulties and Solutions

摘要

当今世界，全球化已经成为一种不可避免的趋势，因此作为世界第一通用语言的英语也在全球越来越广泛地被运用。在中国，大部分小孩从幼儿园开始就要学习英语，当然，学的是最基础的英文字母等。但是，由此我们也可以看出中国教育对英语学习的重视。那么，从小学开始，我们就应该接受正规的英语学习，以便打下良好的基础。“听”作为排在第一位的能力，其重要性是不言而喻的，但是，“听”的难度并不可小觑，因此，研究出有效的英语听力教学方法是非常有必要的。

Abstract

Nowadays, globalization has become an unavoidable trend. Therefore, as the first general language in the world, English is being widely used. In China, most of the children need to learn English from the kindergarten, certainly, just the basic alphabet. However, it shows that Chinese education attaches importance to English. It must be necessary for the children to lay solid foundation for English learning in the primary school. As the skill that is arranged in the first place, the importance of listening is comprehended without being told. What’s more, we cannot ignore the difficulty of it. Hence, it is essential to research about English listening teaching methodology.
