会展英语语体特点及翻译技巧
On Stylistic Features and Translation Skills of Exhibition English
摘要
近年来，会展业已经成为国际经济的一个重要部分。会展是一个展示成就，寻求商机与合作机会，文化交流的平台。会展英语作为一种交流工具，在其中起着桥梁的作用，所以掌握会展英语的语体特点及其翻译技巧是十分必要的。论文分为五个部分。 第一部分对会展业和会展英语做了简单的介绍；第二部分是文献综述；第三部分介绍了会展英语的语体特征,包括词汇特点和句子特点；第四部分介绍了有关公司宣传及品牌的翻译技巧,同时作者提供了一些培养优秀的翻译者的方法；最后得出一个结论，只有较好地掌握会展英语的语体特点及翻译技巧，才能很好地从事会展英语的翻译和交流工作，成为优秀的会展英语翻译者。

Abstract
In recent years, in the process of world economic globalization and integration, exhibition industry has become a significant part of international economy. Exhibition is a great platform to display achievement, seek business opportunities, find cooperation opportunities, exchange different culture awareness and so on. As a tool of communication, exhibition English plays the role of bridge. So mastering stylistic features of exhibition English and its translation skills is quite necessary. The article contains five parts. In the first part, the author gives a general introduction of exhibition industry and exhibition English. Part two is literature review. The third part and the forth part are two main parts of this paper. Part three introduces the stylistic features of exhibition English. It divides into two parts which are vocabulary features and sentential features. Part four gives several translation skills of exhibition English which includes the translation skills of company publicity and brand. Meanwhile, the author offers some methods of cultivating excellent translators. In the last part, a possible conclusion will be drawn based on the above elaboration that only deeply understand the stylistic features and translation skills of exhibition English can make people be an excellent translator of exhibition industry.
