摘要
在短短几年间,中国网络小说传遍东亚、欧美,成为中国文化海外传播的一张招牌。本文从跨文化传播角度,通过回顾中文网络小说海外传播的历程、介绍网络小说的海外平台、对海外读者进行画像以及总结概括《盘龙》成功传播的经验四个方面探讨中国网络小说如何在西方强势的文化语境中实现传播与发展。研究中笔者发现,新媒介的应用为《盘龙》的传播提供了平台,机器翻译技术的提升使海量文本得以迅速传向海外,网络小说本身兼容中西的通俗性和刺激感则迅速吸引了大量以男性学生为主的读者群体,从而有效地实现了以《盘龙》为代表的网络小说的海外传播。
