摘要

中西方文化中，龙形象一直是不可忽视的重要题材和表现对象。中西方对龙的认识和解读上有很大差异。通过比较《霍比特人》和《封神演义》两部著作中龙的形象，以小见大，分析不同文学背景下产生的龙的意向。从外形、社会意义和内涵入手，研究两部作品中龙的差异。相同点有以下几方面：两者都属于超自然现象，都是想象的产物和都种类丰富。最后从宗教、文明和历史三个角度，解释影响两部作品中龙形象创作的因素。
