A Tentative Study on English Language Teaching Strategies in China from the Perspective of Language Attrition

摘要

本文从中国实际教学中存在的问题出发，结合语言磨蚀现象，探索有效的英语教学策略来解决现存的教学问题。一直以来，语言学者仅仅关注到了语言习得并从语言习得中寻找提高外语教学效率的办法，很少有人关注到语言磨蚀对语言学习的影响。基于国内外语言磨蚀研究方面的最新发现，笔者归纳出一些语言磨蚀的启示，将这些启示应用到我国英语教学实践中。通过对国内外语言磨蚀研究的综合分析，本文旨在探索有效的英语教学策略来减少甚至避免语言磨蚀，提高英语学习效率。

Abstract

This thesis started from China’s real foreign language teaching problems combined with the language attrition phenomenon to explore effective English teaching strategies to solve the existing teaching deficits. All the time, researchers put their eyes only to language acquisition and rarely noticed the role of language attrition. Based on the latest research findings on language attrition, the author summed up some enlightenment from language attrition and applied these enlightenments to the English teaching practice. By the reviews of studies of language attrition at home and abroad, this thesis searches for the effective teaching strategies of slowing and avoiding the English attrition.
