Abstract and Key Words

Abstract: With the development of tourism in our country, more and more foreigners set China as their first choice of a travel destination. Tourism advertisement as an effective way to publicize tourism resources of China, its translation quality can directly influence the development of tourism. This paper based on the translation principles of tourism ads, it point out that translators should pay attention to cultural transmission elements in the process of translation and put forward some translation strategies.

摘要:近年来我国旅游事业不断发展,越来越多的外国人把中国作为他们旅游的首选国家。旅游宣传广告作为一种对外宣传中国旅游资源的有效途径,其翻译的质量直接影响着旅游业的发展。本文从旅游广告的翻译原则着手,指出翻译者在翻译过程中应当注意文化传递这一要素,提出旅游广告翻译的一些基本策略。

1.    Introduction
This paper has five parts, the first part presents the definition, characteristics and functions of tourism ads. The second part introduces the differences existing in C-E tourism advertisement, including style differences and cultural differences. The third part present the translation principles of tourist publicity material and ads. The forth part propose some strategies of tourism ads, with ample examples to illustrate. And the last part is the conclusion.
Tourism advertisement as a promotional material, it plays an important role for the outside world to know China's tourist resources. Excellent translation of tourism advertisement is not only able to get wide publicity, but also to expand the tourist market, bringing economic and cultural influences. In order to have a better understanding of tourism advertisement, we should know some relevant knowledges.
1.1 Definition
Tourism advertisement as a promotional material, it plays an important role for the outside world to know China's tourist resources. Excellent translation of tourism advertisement is not only able to get wide publicity, but also to expand the tourist market, bringing economic and cultural influences. In order to have a better understanding of tourism advertisement, we should know some relevant knowledges.
