摘要

《圣经》是一部基督教典籍，它影响全世界近三分之一的人口。《圣经》既是充满哲理的基督教经典和记录古希伯来民族历史的珍贵文献，又是一部写作技巧高超的文学作品。《圣经》原文主要由希伯来文和希腊文写成。它是世界上拥有最多译本的著作，已有2000多种语言和方言的译本，每一年的销售量比任何一本书都要多。《圣经》对世界文化、文学以及生活产生了深远的影响。
本文基于圣经翻译采用的翻译理论，对在其指导下进行的圣经翻译进行研究，通过对不同版本(这里英文翻译版本采用King James version和Good News Bible；中文翻译版本主要采用The Chinese Union Version(CUV) and Today’s Chinese Version(TCV))进行对比和分析，考察奈达的翻译理论在圣经翻译中的应用。   
本论文旨在探讨不同圣经版本之间的差异和英文圣经翻译和中文圣经翻译理论的发展。首先，作者回顾了不同版本的英文圣经翻译和中文圣经翻译的历史，探索了圣经翻译的原则和方法。然后，作者研究了圣经翻译过程中的指导理论。最后，基于分析比较，作者提及了对现有圣经版本改进的建议。

Abstract

The Bible, as the Canon of Christianity, affected nearly one-third of the world’s population. It is not only a historical document which is endowed with rich meaning of philosophy, but also a precious literary output with great writing skills. The New Testament was written originally in Greek and Hebrew. It is a collection of sacred writing of the Christian faiths. It has been translated into more languages than any other books in the word. By now, it has been translated into more than 2000 different languages and dialects. This book had sold more copies than any other book each year. Translation of the Bible not only influenced literature but also shaped the development of language.
This paper is to study the application of Nida’s dynamic equivalence principle in the Bible translation through the comparison and analysis of English Bible versions-King James version and Good News Bible and Chinese Bible versions- Chinese Union Version and Today’s Chinese Version.
This thesis aims to find the differences between different versions and trace the development of English and Chinese Bible translation. At first, the author examined the history of English and Chinese Bible translation with the intention to explore the shifts of principles and methodologies under which various versions were produced, and then the author studies the principle which guided the translating processes of the various versions. Finally, the author provides some suggestions for improvements of the various versions and future translation.
