摘要：

金融是现代经济的核心，在现代经济生活中，金融市场不仅提供了企业筹集资本的场所，也是实现社会资源配置的工具，并且还起到完善公司治理结构的重要作用。现代意义上的金融起源于西方社会，并在欧美市场得以发展壮大。中国作为新兴市场经济国家，近年来经济发展迅速，对外贸易不断扩大，金融产业也从起步阶段进入快速发展时期。一大批西方先进的金融理论先后被引入中国，一系列金融产品和金融工具也日益进入到人们的日常生活当中，因此，金融文本的翻译直接影响着中国的学者以及普通大众对现代金融的理解，也对我国建设有中国特色的现代金融市场和现代金融体系有着重要的借鉴作用。
因长期以来我国翻译理论主要着眼于文学翻译，对于金融等新兴产业关注不够，造成金融翻译一直缺乏相对合适的理论指导，许多金融理论、文本的翻译中存在需要改进和提高的地方。
鉴于此，本文试图通过对德国功能翻译理论的发展历程，基本理论框架，主要观点和原则的分析，以及金融文本自身特点的分析，说明功能翻译理论对金融文本翻译的影响和启发性意义。并通过翻译实例，具体论述功能翻译理论中的主要原则在金融文本翻译中的运用。

Abstract：

Finance is the core of modern economy. The financial market provides a place for companies to raise fund, and is a tool to realize the allocation of social resource efficiency. It also consummates the governance of a corporation. Finance in the modern sense originated from western world, and growed up in European and American market. As an emerging market, China’s economy develops fast, foreign trade expands, and the financial industry grows from the initial stage to the period of rapid development. In recent years, a large number of Western finance theories have been advanced into China, and a series of financial products, and financial instruments are increasingly entering into the daily life of people. Therefore, the translation of financial texts has direct impact on China’s scholars and the general public’s understanding of modern finance, and provides an important reference for China’s building a modern financial markets and the modern financial system.
Because the Chinese translation theories mainly focus on the literary translation, with deficient attention to financial and other emerging industries, financial translation has lacked of appropriate theoretical guidance. A lot of translations of financial theories and texts need to be improved.
In view of this, based on the analysis of German Functionalist Theory, its historical development, the basic theoretical framework, and the key principles, and on the analysis of features of financial texts, this thesis tries to explain Functionalist Theory’s implications for financial texts translation. Then examples are provided to illustrate specifically the application of main principles of Functionalist Theory in the translation of financial texts.
