摘要：

著名语言学家维索尔伦受达尔文进化论的启发创立了语言顺应论。顺应论从以下四个方面描述和解释语言现象：语境关系顺应，结构客体顺应，动态顺应和顺应的意识凸显性。该理论为跨文化翻译活动提供了新的思路。中国成为世界第二大经济体,聚集了世界的目光。《政府工作报告》成为国外关注的焦点，其中的政策更是他们了解的重点。政策类词汇多具有中国特色，其翻译具有跨文化特点。本文从顺应论的角度分析报告中的政策类词汇的翻译策略，以期为同类文本翻译提供借鉴。

Abstract:

Jef. Verschueren, a linguist, enlightened by Darwinism proposed the Adaptation Theory. In this theory, he gave four angles for a better pragmatic description and explanation: contextual correlates of adaptability, structural objects of adaptability, dynamics of adaptability, and salience of adaptability. His Adaptation Theory has helped shed light on handling of cross-culture translation. With China becoming the world’s second largest economy, it has aroused the world’s interests in it. The annual Government Work Report, of which the policies are important to those who want to establish relations with China, has attracted the attention of the globe. With many policy-related terms are culture-loaded, the translation has the characteristics of cross-culture. This thesis analyzes the methods adopted in the translation of policy-related terms in the report from the Adaptation Theory, with the hope of presenting a sample for the translation of similar texts.

  1.1 The research background
 China has become the world’s second largest economy, and thus it is assuming an increasingly important part in the globe. With the ever-increasing exchanges in various areas between nations, having a good knowledge of China becomes necessary than ever. The Government Work Report, an officially published document on the achievements over the past few years and the prospects of the forthcoming years, serves as a window through which other countries could have a better look at China. Its policies in economy, education, culture and so forth are particularly important to those who have interest in reverent scopes. Moreover, the report takes a role of importance in conveying Chinese culture. So a translation version of quality is very crucial.
