ABSTRACT

Untitled poem was a unique creation of Li Shangyin. Because of his unsmooth life and unfortunate encounter, his analysis and excavation on the inner-heart of aesthetic object, and his emotional experience about depression and sentimentality, the imageries and the artistic conceptions in his poems were obscured and his poems were covered a sense of euphemism and connotation. Thus, when translating, we should study deeper. Eco-translatology as a translation study area is a little bit new but it is paid close attention to by plenty of scholars. It connects ecology with translation, considering translation as selection and adaptation, thinking it as a constant process of selection and adaptation. 
Based on Eco-translatology theory, the thesis will analyze Xu Yuanchong’s English versions of Li Shangyin's untitled poems mainly from three dimensions, including linguistic dimension, cultural dimension and communicative dimension, to explore whether Mr. Xu’s translation work is in keeping with the three eco-environments put forward by Eco-translatology; whether his translarion achieves better effects in language transferring, culture changing and meaning conveying. To some extent, the thesis is expected to as well provide some reference for poem translating practice later.

摘  要

李商隐的无题诗是一个独创，诗人坎坷的身世和不幸的世事遭遇，诗人对审美对象内心世界的剖析和挖采，诗人忧郁伤感的情绪体验，使得其诗意象和意境朦胧，使这些诗笼上了一层深婉含蓄的色彩，因此在翻译研究时，我们要对其进行深入的研究。生态翻译学是一个较为新颖的翻译研究领域，受到了较多学者的关注。它将生态和翻译融合在一起，将翻译理解成适应和选择，认为翻译就是一个不断选择和适应的过程。
本文以生态翻译学理论为基础，主要从语言、文化和交际三个维度对许译李商隐无题诗进行分析，看其译本是否符合生态翻译学理论中语言、文化和交际这三个翻译生态环境的要求，是否在语言转换，文化变更和意义传达上达到了较好的效果，并为今后的诗歌翻译实践提供一定的参考。
