近年来，在中国随着文化交际的扩大，电影成为越来越来流行的大众化文化方式，也成为跨文化交际的有效方式。同时字幕翻译在其中扮演着一个重要的角色。影视语言有其自身的特点，并且中西影视文化有许多不同之处，显然这对字幕翻译工作带来了许多的障碍。事实上，影视系列的作品也是一种艺术，但由于其自身的特点使之成为一门独特的艺术，且艺术也是一种文学，那么影视翻译自然也是一种文学特别的文学翻译。在跨文化交际扩大的潮流下，中国的影视翻译还是一个年轻的领域，尤其在影视文化交际，越来越多的学者们关注这一领域。纵观目前许多的翻译理论都大多数都倾向于其他领域，大多为文学翻译。在早期的字幕翻译中，大多数翻译工作者都在这些的理论指导下进行字幕翻译，他们取得了重大的成果，但相比在社会中影响来说仍有些不足之处。本文将基于前人和当前的调查下做出一些改善，并望对影视翻译有所帮助。

Abstract:

In recent years, with the enlargement of exchange of culture in China. Film, as a more and more popular way of common culture, is an effective means of cross-culture communication. While translation of subtitle plays an important role. Language of film has its own characteristics, and there are many differences between Chinese and English film cultures. Obviously these set many obstacles to subtitle translation. Actually films (movies) and TV series are a kind of art, but with its own characteristics, it’s a special art. Art is a branch of literature .So audiovisual translation is a special library translation. In China subtitle translation is young field of translation. As the enlargement of exchange of cross-cultural communication, especially in the field of film (movie) culture international exchange, more and more students, scholars pay more attention to this field. So far there are many translation theories, but many of them are aim at other translation fields. Surveying all of these translation theories most of them are concentrate on library translation, so in the early period of subtitle translation, most of the translators and workers do it under these theories’ direction. They have made a remarkable accomplishment. Compared with considerable impact on the public, however, the research on audiovisual translation is still insufficient in China．This paper will keep their pace and use some recent research to make some progress, and then it hopes can be useful to the audiovisual translation.
