摘要：

以胡庚申的译论“翻译适应选择论”为依据, 本文认为汉语新闻英译中中文化词的翻译过程是译者对于翻译生态环境的多维度适应和选择。并指出译者在汉语新闻英译中文化词的翻译过程中应该最大程度地适应翻译生态环境, 选择恰当的翻译策略。本文的研究目的在于找到一种能够更加恰当地翻译汉语翻译新闻中文化词的方式，从而提高汉语新闻英译文的可读性和可接受性，扩大中国新闻在世界的影响力。本文通过多维度分析若干新闻中文化词的翻译，得出结论：翻译适应选择论对于汉语新闻英译中文化词的翻译具有很大的解释力和可操作性。

Abstract:

Based on Hu Gengshen’s Translation theory” the approach to translation as adaptation and selection”, this paper holds that the process of translation of culture-loaded words in Chinese News is the multi-dimensional adaptation and selection in the translational eco-environment. This paper also points out that the translator should adapt herself/himself to the translational eco-environment and choose appropriate translation strategies to translate Chinese news to English. The purpose of this paper is to find a way to translate culture-loaded words in Chinese news more appropriately in order to enhance the readability and acceptability of the English version of Chinese news. By analyzing many examples of translated versions of culture-loaded words in Chinese News, a natural conclusion can be draw that the approach to translation as adaptation and selection has great explanatory force in translating culture-loaded words in Chinese news more appropriately.

1.    Introduction
With the rapid development of China, the world pays more and more attention to our country. The English version of Chinese news plays the role of a window which allows the world to know more about China. So the development of translating Chinese News to English is not only help the world to know China but also allows our Chinese culture go world widely.
Culture-loaded words, as a special cultural phenomenon, pose a demanding task for preciseness and effectiveness. [1]Therefore, to develop the translation of Chinese News, the translator needs to pay much attention to the translation of culture-loaded words first. Fortunately, many scholars in the academia especially the news translators have already realized the importance and significance of the translation of culture-loaded words, and they have already made some progress. However, most of the scholars just talked about the translation strategies of translating culture-loaded words in Chinese news. To be specific, firstly, they chose a piece of Chinese News which contains one or more culture-loaded words; then, they picked out the culture-loaded words and gave the English version which they think that is the best translation of the given culture-loaded words in the news; thirdly, they analyzed the translation strategies which are used in the translating process; at last, the scholars made the reader believe the rationality of the way of their translating.
