摘要
近年来,随着全球化的深入,跨文化交流也在不断深入,口译员对跨文化交流的重要性不言自明。但在实际交流过程中,口译员一直处于附属,服从的地位,其在口译活动中的主体地位和主体性意识一直是被遮掩的。本文将通过对商务陪同口译中口译员主体性意识的分析来重新认识和重新定义口译员的角色。通过对某些具体口译活动的分析,来探讨口译员的主体性意识是如何发挥作用的,并归结出口译员在其主体性意识的指导下,如何更好地促成口译活动的成功。

Abstract
Recently, with the deepening of globalization, the cross-cultural communication is increasing and interpreters are badly needed. Although interpreters are a crucial element in cross-cultural communication, they are placed in a subordinate and obedient position and their subjectivity and subjectivity consciousness are intentionally or unintentionally neglected in real interpreting activity.
This paper aims to re-recognize and re-define the role of interpreters through analyzing interpreters’ subjectivity consciousness in business escort interpreting. Through the analysis of some specific interpreting activities, this paper will show how interpreters’ subjectivity consciousness is implemented and conclude how can interpreters function better to contribute to the success of interpreting activity guided by such subjectivity consciousness.

1 Introduction
Cross-cultural communication’s inexorable momentum of development is particularly visible in the wave of globalization. In global communication, the demand of various talents is large and interpreters are such talents that are badly needed. They can be seen in almost all fields and are hired in the need of establishing conversation with people in different countries and cultures. From formal and large conference interpreting to small and private business escorting interpreting, interpreters are always playing their role in those small or big occasions. It can even be said that any cross-cultural communication activities cannot continue without the work and efforts of interpreters and the participation of interpreters is necessary and inevitable since with the deepening of globalization, barriers in cross-cultural communication is more various than ever before and to clear or reduce misunderstandings between participated parties in communication.
