摘要：

本论文以奈达对等翻译理论为指导，系统解释此理论应用于唐诗英译所带来的效果及影响。首先介绍了动态对等理论的提出、主要内容及其对翻译研究做作出的贡献。其次论文阐述了唐诗和唐诗翻译的特点，以及动态对等理论应用于唐代诗歌英译的可行性。第四章从形式、意义、风格三个方面分析了动态对等理论在诗歌英译中的应用，然后阐述了三种应用动态对等理论可应用于诗歌翻译的方法，即对应法、淡化法和重构法。最后得出结论：动态对等理论可以较好地解决唐诗英译中神似和形似的矛盾，该理论对于诗歌英译有一定借鉴意义，并可应用于唐诗英译的翻译实践中。

Abstract:

This thesis uses Nida’s dynamic equivalence theory as the guidance, to explain the effects and influence in the application of this theory in English Translation of Tang poetry. Initially, the thesis briefly introduces the background; main content and contribution to poetry translation of dynamic equivalence theory. Secondly, the thesis tells about the features of Tang poetry and its English translation, and feasibility of the application of dynamic equivalence in the C-E translation of Tang poetry. In the forth part of this thesis, the author discusses the analysis and techniques of dynamic equivalence in Poetry Translation, the functional equivalence in Form, meaning and style. Then we point out three kinds of techniques of dynamic equivalence in poetry translation, and they are corresponding, recasting, decolouring. Finally, the author draws out a conclusion: the dynamic equivalence theory can better solve the contradiction between the parataxis and hypotaxis in the English Translation of Tang poetry. This theory has certain reference and significance in poetry translation, and dynamic equivalence theory can be applied in the English translation practice of Tang poetry.
