摘要

    随着经济的全球化，国际商务活动日益频繁，英语商务合同的应用也越来越广。故此，商务合同的翻译也越发重要。本文将以奈达的功能对等理论为指导来探讨国际商务合同的翻译。首先，本文作者先从词汇与句子两个方面介绍了国际商务合同的特点。再接着介绍了奈达的功能对等理论。最后在奈达功能对等理论的指导下，提出了英语商务合同的翻译原则及方法。以往已有许多学者对英语商务合同做了许多具有价值性的研究，但有的只是重于合同本身的特点，有的只是强调合同的翻译方法。本文作者在前人的基础上，将这两点结合，为英语商务合同的翻译方法作了更进一步的完善。

Abstract

With the globalization of the economy, international business activities become more frequent. As result, the application of the business English contract has become more common as well. Hence, the significance of its translation has been more obvious. This thesis mainly discusses the business English contract translation based on Nida’s Functional Equivalence Theory. First, the author introduces the characteristics of the business English contract. Then the author introduces Nida’s Functional Equivalence Theory briefly. At last, the author presents the translation principles and methods of the business English contract. Many scholars have done a lot valuable researches on the business English contract translation. However, few of them have combined the characteristics of the business English contract with its translation. The author, basing on Nida’s Functional Equivalence Theory, has done this combination so as to make further improvement for the business English contract translation.
