摘要：

本文通过分析电影片名的各种功能，总结常用的片名翻译技巧，从归化和异化的角度分析英文电影片名翻译的问题，指出归化在目前指导电影片名翻译方面起着重要作用，并举例分析两种策略的应用。由于电影的娱乐性，译者对翻译策略的选择在很大程度上受观众的审美和接受能力制约，因此在英文电影片名翻译时，应以观众为导向，把归化与异化结合起来，使英文电影片名的翻译更加出色。

Abstract：

This thesis has analyzed functions of movie titles and summarized common title translation techniques. The author has analyzed English film title translation from the perspective of domestication and foreignization and pointed out that domestication plays an important role in English Film Title translation, and giving examples application analysis of two strategies. Because of film’s quality of entertainment, aesthetic and the ability to accept the film of audience largely restricted the translator's selection of translation strategies.  English film title’s translation should be oriented to the audience. To combine domestication and Foreignization makes English film title translation better.
