摘  要

随着经济全球化的不断深化，翻译作为连接不同国家间的语言及文化的桥梁，已变得必不可少。受不同因素的影响，翻译策略的选择也各不相同，国内外不少学者已对如何选择合适的翻译策略进行了激烈的争论。本文将以功能翻译为视角进一步分析归化与异化翻译策略。首先，本文基于前人在归化与异化法重要研究的基础上，突出了本研究的必要性及其意义，并加以陈述归化与异化法的来源与定义，功能翻译的由来。随后，本文以功能翻译为视角，讨论了归化与异化的选择应以功能翻译目的为导向。归化与异化两种翻译策略各有其特点与运用价值，绝对的观点过分强调某一策略都是片面、不科学的。因此，本文给出建议在翻译过程中应辩证地看待两种翻译策略。

Abstract

With the intensifying of economic globalization, translation has become of great necessity as a bridge between different languages and cultures among different countries. Since the choice of translation strategies varies due to various factors, many a scholar at home and abroad has debated fiercely on how to choose an appropriate strategy in translating. This thesis is presented to give further analysis of the domestication and foreignization strategies from the perspective of functional translation. Firstly, this thesis highlights the necessity and significance of this study before it reviews prior major studies on domestication and foreignization. Next, the origin and definition of domestication and foreignization are presented, as well as those of functional translation. Then the functionally skopos-oriented choice of domestication and foreignization is discussed from the perspective of the functional translation. Accordingly, some cases are presented to analyze the specific choice of the two translation strategies. Lastly, it is concluded that the two strategies have their own features and applicable values. Over-emphasis paid to one of the two strategies from an absolute viewpoint is one-sided and unscientific. Therefore, it is suggested that dialectical views on the two translation strategies should be adopted in the process of translating.
