摘  要

随着中国与西方国家的贸易关系发展日新月异，中国亟需更进一步了解世界，而世界这个正在迅猛发展的国家充满了好奇。新闻媒体作为一个信息的开放平台，进行着中西媒介的信息传递、交流的工作。而媒介中英语新闻标题的作用尤为显著，它以简练的文字为读者在短时间内获取信息起着必不可少的作用。英语新闻中涵盖了西方国家政治、经济、科研、教育、习俗、信仰等各个方面。中英新闻标题因语言文化差异和背景的不同存在着不少的差异，例如思维方式，价值观以及俚语等的在标题的使用和体现上，本文通过对于中英新闻标题的特点和功能分析，其造成差异性的因素比较，翻译的方法等方面的研究，使译文能够忠实而得体的传递原文的文化信息。因此，了解新闻标题的翻译有助于我们对于新闻进行一个准确的了解，对于缩小中西文化的差异，激发读者的兴趣，达到双赢目的，从而充分体现新闻的传播目的和社会价值。

Abstract

As China's trading relationship with Western countries becomes more and more closely, China needs to know more about the world, and the World needs to better understanding of China's social situation. The daily news supports an information platform, with gradually stepping into the news headline reading era. So that the importance of the news headlines is becoming more and more prominent. Most of all English news headlines in the media, plays an essential role based on concise writing for readers in getting information in a short time. Since English news closely be related to all aspects of western world, news reports involve politics, economy, science, education, customs and beliefs and so on. English news headlines are different from Chinese, who is due to language, cultural background and traditional culture. for example, mode of thinking, sense of values and slang words reflect on the news headlines, this paper through the analysis of the function and feature of news headlines, to research what factors will influence the difference of the West and the East, and how to translate the news headlines, etc. Therefore, the translation of news headlines could faithfulness and appropriately delivers the original culture information, arouse reader’s interest, narrow down the difference of English and Chinese cultural-bound and achieve the win-win, otherwise, it can fully dissemination of information and social values.
