摘  要

随着全球化的发展，各种外国文化传入中国。比如，观看外国大片已经成为大家一种习以为常的娱乐方式。因此，电影翻译也随之兴起，而其中就包括了影片片名的翻译。好的电影片名不仅涵盖了电影的主要内容，展现了其艺术特性，还有一定商业价值。本文在目的论的指导下，介绍了英语片名的特点，阐述片名翻译的原则，并分析了音译、直译、意译三种翻译方法的实例应用。总结出译者只有灵活运用各种翻译方法，才能译出完美的版本,从而吸引观众，获得高票房。

Abstract

With the development of globalization, all kinds of foreign culture come into China. For example, watching foreign films has become a popular way of entertaining in daily life. Therefore, with the boom of film translation, the translation of film titles springs up. A good film title not only contains the main contents of the film, but also manifests the charming artistic characteristics, even the profound commercial value. In this thesis, under the conduct of Skopos theory, the author introduces the characteristics of English film titles and elaborates the translation principles of film title translation. Three translation skills will be illustrated, namely, transliteration, literal translation, liberal translation. Applications are analyzed with rich examples under the guidance of the translation principles. In conclusion, only by making flexible use of several translation skills can the translators produce perfect versions so as to attract the audience and make a hit on box-office.
