摘  要

其实，英语可以分为很多种类型。比如生活用语，学术用语，科技用语等。其中，经贸英语可以说是英语中，应用型英语的典型代表。而经贸英语又与其他普通的应用型英语不同，它具有较为专用型的语言特征，用词也相对更加规范，句式更为复杂。而在其中，商务合同更是以翻译的复杂与严谨著称。然而，在语言结构，文体特征等方面，中英文合同都存在很大的不同，商务合同翻译并非易事。所以需要建立一种指导性理论，能够帮助人们翻译经贸英语以及商务合同。本文是参考前者的思想和研究，通过文献综述，统计，比较分析等方法，分析经贸英语及商务合同的词汇，句法，篇章等方面的语言特点及翻译技巧。通过规范对其的使用，了解其重要性，从而使中国在对外贸易中避免因文化的差异性而带来的误解，增加贸易成功率，促进中国贸易的长远发展。

Abstract

In fact, English can be divided into many kinds of types, such as life language, academic language, the language of science and technology and so on. Among them, business English can be used as the typical one in the applied English. But business English is totally different from the other applied English. It has some special language features, more standardized and has more complex sentences as well. And among them, business contract is famous for translation of the complex and rigorous. Thus, China and America have many differences in many aspects, such as their cultures, languages, words and so on, not to mention business contracts. As a result, when we translate them, it is not a very easy thing. Therefore, it is particularly important to find a theory which can provide a kind of guidance theory for translation of business English and English business contracts. I will talk something about vocabulary, syntax, and discourse about business English and English contracts, which reflect the characteristics of the language and translation skills based on the former theories by literature review, statistics, and comparative analysis, etc. in this paper. And make it possible to use them more standardized and understand its importance when we translate some English business contracts, so that we Chinese translators will avoid some pivotal and confusable misunderstandings, which are due to cultural differences between foreign international trades, and it will increase international trade success rates and facilitate the long and stable development of Chinese intentional trade in the long run.
