摘  要

随着世界经济一体化的迅猛发展，中国对外贸易的活动也越来越频繁。而在商务交往中，函电的作用也是不容小觑的。它是国际贸易活动中不可或缺的交流工具。但由于中英两种语言的差异，在函电的汉译英翻译过程中我们需要进行句子结构重组，必须选择合适的英语词汇；我们也必须了解翻译的原则和技巧，让这些原则和技巧结合汉译英，使整个文本发挥更好的作用。本文将外贸英语函电翻译的用词技巧作为研究对象，在总结和参考已有研究成果的基础上进一步提出自己的观点和认识。在阐述函电翻译的原则及其用词技巧的同时，还探究其翻译时应注意的文体特征。通过对外贸函电翻译技巧的探究能使商务人员更好的进行贸易活动，有助于双方的交流沟通，从而促进双方贸易的达成。

Abstract

With the rapid development of world economic integration, China's foreign trade activities become more and more frequent. In business communication, the role of business correspondence should not be looked down. It is also an indispensable communication tool in international trade activities. Due to differences in the two different languages, Chinese and English, translating from Chinese into English in the translation process will take great effort to reorganize the structure of English sentences, and to choose the appropriate English vocabulary. We must understand the translation principles and skills, and the principles and skills should be combined with the translation from Chinese into English; then the whole text can play a better role. This thesis views the language skills of translating English business correspondence as the research object. It presents its own opinions and further understandings on the basis of studying and summarizing the former researches. The thesis elaborates the principles of translating business correspondence; at the same time, it also explores its stylistic features that we should pay attention to in translation. Having a careful study of translation skills of business English correspondence can make business people trade better. It is helpful to have a communication for both sides, so as to promote the bilateral trade to be reached.
