摘要
本文通过对电影《功夫熊猫》字幕翻译的两个版本进行分析比较,探讨两个版本中涉及到的译者的读者意识。译者的读者意识在翻译中不可或缺,在当今商业化娱乐化更严重的影视文化翻译中,译者的读者意识更是举足轻重。本文基于前人研究成果,分析电影《功夫熊猫》字幕翻译中译者对受众、字幕翻译特殊性、“信达雅”的考虑,从接受美学的角度分析读者意识,了解译者的读者意识在电影等娱乐性商业化产品翻译中的重要性。

Abstract
Through the study of the subtitle translation of Kung Fu Panda by comparing its two Chinese versions, this article tries to discuss the translators’ consciousness of readers in the two versions. Translators’ consciousness of readers is indispensable in translation, and with the increasing commercialized and recreational tendency in the translation of television culture, translators’ consciousness of readers becomes more significant. Based on the achievements in the past, this article analyzes translators’ consideration of the audience, the feature of subtitle translation, ‘faithfulness, expressiveness and elegance’ used in the translation of Kung Fu Panda. And from the perceptive of reception aesthetics, this article tries to discuss translators’ consciousness of readers to underline the importance of translators’ consciousness of readers in the translation of the recreational and commercial products like movies.

1. Introduction
As the increasing popular mass culture, movies have become an effective way for cultural diffusion. And the subtitle translation plays quite an important role. In the past years, scholars mainly focused on studying the contents’ translation, and now more and more people begin to pay attention to the studying of the translators and readers. Readers are the accepters of the translation article, and the consideration for the readers determines whether the translation is good or not. Translators’ consciousness of readers, represents the aim of translation, is a very important part in the translation. And it is especially important in the translation of the audiovisual products. Since Kung Fu Panda was showed in China, it has become a big success. Kung Fu Panda was showed just after Wen Chuan Earthquake, and Chinese people were all in a terrible mood at that time. However, Kung Fu Panda made a big success at such a condition and made the whole nation happy. And the subtitle translation of this movie has played an important role in its success. As a commercial and recreational product, the producers will inevitably consider the acceptance of the audiences and then make the movie a success. If a translator also considered the audiences, he will also make the movie succeed in the target country. Translators’ consciousness of the readers is becoming increasingly important. However, studies on subtitle translation in the past years have considered very little about translators’ consciousness of readers.
