摘  要

随着全球化的不断推进，英语作为其最重要的语言基础，正在被各国政府，学校和企业作为最重要的沟通工具。在英语的学习中，词汇是其最基础的部分，也是最困扰中国学生学习英语的主要问题。在中学英语教学中，只有学生拥有了相应的词汇量，才能扫除听说读写教学中的最大障碍。教师才能自由地组织课堂教学。然而，长期以来词汇学习的重要性被教师和学生所忽视。教师认为没必要进行词汇教学，词汇学习属于学生自己的事情。学生则因为教材词汇量的增加以及考试成绩并不直接以词汇量多少来衡量而不重视词汇学习。这种做法直接导致英语教与学的效率低下。因此，本论文关于英语词汇学习方法问题，努力找出最搞笑的词汇教学策略。第一章将会介绍词汇学习的目的和意义；第二章，将深入分析西方词汇教学法的发展史以及词汇、策略的定义分类；第三章，将具体列出一些传列举了一些有效的教与学统的教学方法，分析了它们的不足之处；第四章用于词汇教学的方法；第五章将会对论文中出现的教学策略以及论文思想进行总结。

Abstract

With the development of globalization,English,as the most important basis of language,is being used by governments, schools and enterprises as the most important communication tools.Durning the process of English study,vocabulary is the most basic part as well as the one which confused the students whose mother tongue is not English the most.In the vocabulary teaching process in middle school,only when students have enough amount of vocabulary,the better they will remove the obstacle in the process of listening,speaking,reading,writing,teaching process.However,the importance of vocabulary learning has been ignored by teachers and students for a long time.Teachers feel that it’s unnecessary to teach English vocabulary because they think students should do it themselves.students also don’t pay attention to vocabulary learning because the increasing number of vocabulary that exist in textbook and the amount of vocabularies doesn’t determine the result of exams.All their misunderstandings lead to the low efficiency of vocabulary learning.Therefore, this essay will analyses English vocabulary learning strategies and try to find out the most efficient strategy.
The first chapter mainly introduces the purpose and significance of English vocabulary learning; The second chapter will have a deep analysis of the development of Western vocabulary teaching ,the definition and classification of vocabulary and strategy, the efficient strategies; In the third chapter, it will show some certain traditional English vocabulary teaching strategies and their shortcomings; In the forth chapter, the essay will make a list of some efficient teaching and learning methods;In the fifth chapter,the essay will draw a conclusion of the teaching strategies mentioned above and the main ideas of the essay.
