摘　要

如今，英语被很多国家当做官方语言来与其他国家进行交流。中国也越来越重视英语教学。然而，英语教学被没有那么简单。很多英语教师会认为学生学习英语困难是因为他们没有对英语产生兴趣。众所周知，人的兴趣能够很好地激发人们努力做成功一件事。
在这此篇论文中，作者将着重讨论如何激发学生学习英语的兴趣。根据前人对学生学习英语兴趣的研究，作者将继续探讨英语教师激发学生学习英语兴趣的方法。首先，教师可以与学生建立起新型的师生关系。第二，教师可以讲实事，运用游戏、表演等方法来激发学生学习英语的兴趣。

Abstract

Since English is used by many countries as their official language to communicate with other countries, Chinese people are paying more attention to English teaching. However, whether learning English or teaching English is not an easy task for Chinese people to learn or teach. Many English teacher attribute the phenomenon that a great many of students find it too hard to learn English well to their lack of interest in learning English. It is generally known that the most significant power in the world which can arouse or attract people to try their best to do things must be people’s interest.
This paper will focus on that how English teachers promote students’ performance in the process of English teaching by stimulating their interest in English. Led by the previous studies of students’ learning interest in learning English, the author of this dissertation will continue to talk about how the English teachers in China can use students’ interest appropriately in the process of English teaching. Some suggestions will be presented by the author as following. Firstly, building up a new type of the relationship between students and English teachers is essential to every English teacher Secondly, introducing current affairs in English class can also arouse effectively students’ interest in learning English. Thirdly, English teachers can apply many kinds of games to English teaching. Fourthly, real objects should be used in English class to initiate students’ interest. Last but not least, English teachers should use performance to arise interest.

1 Introduction
English is used by many countries as their official language to communicate with other countries. As an important and indispensable language in this globalization of the world, English is used for international trade and commerce among people from different cultures. In recent years, more advanced teaching methods that will contribute to arouse students’ interest in learning English should be found out in that English has become an indispensable course in China.
