Abstract:
The primary task of education is to make our country prosperous and wealthy; meanwhile adopting a good learning method can achieve a multiplier effect. Traditional learning methods are not adequate because they can't satisfy today’s new requirements put forward by teachers and students. The Cooperative-Competitive learning strategy, however, trying to meet such new requirements, has attracted more and more attention. In order to achieve a comprehensive understanding of its implementation in group presentations in interpretation classes, the author designs a questionnaire from various perspectives of this learning mechanism and gathers feedbacks on adopting this learning strategy in group presentations in interpretation classes from fifty English major senior students. The results show that the strategy has formative influence on raising study efficiency and enthusiasm. In addition, the implementation of this learning method improves the students' initiative and activeness of learning activities and communicative ability. Through cooperative exchange and competitive challenges,the English major students improve their teamwork spirit and independent spirit and the learning autonomy through oral presentations in interpretation classes.

摘 要:
教育作为兴邦富国的首要任务,良好的教育学习方法可以达到事半功倍的效果。传统的教育学习方法因满足不了现如今师生新的要求而被淘汰,合作性竞争学习方法却因响应了此要求而广受关注.为了全面地了解合作性竞争学习方法在口译小组展示上的应用情况,作者从此学习方法的多个角度设计了一个问卷调查表,并对50名大四英语专业学生进行问卷调查以此收集学习机制在口译课小组展示上的应用的反馈。结果表明此学习方法对提高学习效率和学习热情有着重要的作用。此外,此学习机制在口译课小组展示上的应用有助于增强学生的学习主动性、互动性和沟通能力。通过合作交流和竞争挑战,英语专业学生的团队合作精神、独立意识以及自主性也得到了增强。

1 Introduction
Nowadays,there exist so many kinds of learning methods,to name just a few, discussion method, experimental method, dialogue method,demonstration method and so on. However, these learning methods, to some degree, have some limitations, which will become stumbling obstacles to strengthening the students’ learning initiative and efficiency. At the same time, Cooperative-Competitive learning method has been attracting more and more attention. Many educators and educational practitioners are trying to apply the learning strategy to their research fields, such as, mathematics,physics, biology and other subjects, and they have achieved favorable results. Cooperative-Competitive learning method combines advantages of cooperative and competitive learning strategy as well as avoids the disadvantages of them. What is more crucial is that practice has confirmed its positive function. The dissertation aims at arriving at more specific conclusion through the practice of Cooperative-Competitive learning method in English interpretation classes. Then i put forward the new requirements for both English teachers and students so as to perfect it and develop it to a higher level.
