Abstract

    With the deepening of the innovation of college English teaching and learning, how to arouse students' motivation in their studies is one of the pressing tasks. Using English films in English teaching is a new teaching model which makes use of a variety of media and allows students to practice listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating simultaneously in English teaching classes. With the development of instructional technology and the changes in the teaching philosophy, using original English films in teaching has been accepted and approved by many teachers.
    On the basis of Kreshen's second language acquisition theory, this paper mainly investigates the feasibility and advantages of the model of using original English films in English teaching. This thesis is composed of three parts. First part gives a brief review of the relevant researches conducted and the significance of study. The second part is the body of this paper. In this part, firstly, Krashen's second language acquisition theory and its implications are introduced. Secondly, the advantages of using original English films in English teaching are investigated. Next, the implementation of using original English films in English teaching are discussed. Last, the practical problems of applying this model to teaching practice are explored. The third part is the conclusion.

摘 要

    随着大学英语教学改革的不断深入,如何提高学生的学习动机和学习效果是摆在英语教师面前急需解决的问题。电影教学作为一种新的教学模式,充分利用了各种媒体,并且使学生在英语课堂上锻炼了自己听、说、读、写、译的能力。随着现代教育技术的飞快发展和教育理念的改变,在英语教学中,以英文原版电影作为媒介开展教学已经被许多教师接受和认可。
本论文在克拉申二语习得理论的基础上主要探讨了在英语教学中运用原声电影的优势以及实施策略。本文共由三个部分组成。第一部分介绍了国内外关于电影教学的研究现状和本研究的意义。第二部分是论文的主体部分。首先介绍克拉申的二语习得理论以及其对英语教学的两个重要启示。其次,从三个方面论述了运用英文原声电影实施教学的优势。再次,阐述了运用英文原声电影实施教学的步骤和方法。最后,讨论了在课堂中运用英文原声电影实施教学可能遇到的实际问题以及应对策略。第三部分是总结。
