摘要

语用能力是交际能力的重要组成部分,是指恰当、得体地使用语言。语用能力的培养与提高已成为中国外语教学的目标之一,也引起了国内学者对学习者在外语教学中语用能力发展的研究兴趣。高中英语教学的重点是语言学习的实用性,而学生的英语语用能力正体现了语言的实际应用能力。本文采取调查问卷法对无锡市北高级中学的三个重点班与三个非重点班的学生的语用能力进行调查,旨在了解高中英语教学中学生语用能力发展的现状,并分析其在语用能力培养过程中出现的问题。通过调查发现:学生存在的语用问题有违反英语使用习惯而误用表达方式,不了解文化背景差异而导致负向迁移,不符合会话的合作原则,不符合礼貌原则。最后,本文针对研究发现提出相应的建议,希望能够使教师重视英语教学中学生语用能力的发展,通过发现学生语用能力的不足有针对性地培养中学生语用能力发展。

Abstract

Pragmatic competence is an important part of communicative competence which refers to the appropriate and decent use of language. The cultivation and improvement of pragmatic competence have been one of China’s foreign language teaching goals, and arouse scholars’ interest in the research of developing learners’ pragmatic competence in foreign language teaching at home and abroad. Senior high English teaching emphasizes the practicability of language learning, while students’ English pragmatic competence exactly reflects their ability to use language in practice. This paper adopts questionnaire method on three key classes, key senior high and three non key classes students' pragmatic competence investigation, the purpose of this study was to understand the situation of students' pragmatic competence development in English teaching in senior high school, and analyze its pragmatic competence training problems appeared in the process. Through the survey the writer found that: pragmatic problems existing in the students as a violation of English usage, misusing expressions,not understand the differences in cultural background and lead to negative transfer and not comply with the cooperative principle of conversation, not in line with the principles of politeness. At the end of this paper, according to the research results,the writer puts forward corresponding suggestions, and hope to  enable teachers to pay attention to the development of students' pragmatic competence in English teaching, through the discovery of students pragmatic competence problems to cultivate the students' pragmatic competence development.
