摘　要

《当幸福来敲门》（The Pursuit of Happyness）是美国黑人影星威尔•史密斯（Will Smith）于2006年主演的一部基于真人真事的励志电影。该影片展现了主人公克里斯•加德纳对现实生活顽强的抗争及幸福生活的强烈渴望和不懈的追求历程。困境中的克里斯•加德纳并没有放弃对梦想的追求。本文试图从影片情节的角度入手，通过对故事情节的剖析，分析主人公克里斯的心理,这些心理主要包括自信心理、积极心理、乐观心理以及责任心理，进而分析这些心理形成的原因是美国梦、《独立宣言》和生活现状的影响。本文通过这些分析，从而展现当代美国人在追求幸福生活时的心理。

Abstract

The black star Will Smith acted the leading role in an inspirational film, The pursuit of happyness ,which was based on a true story in 2006. The film showed the course of pursuit. Chris Gardner did not give up the pursuit of dreams in predicament. This film conveys the hero Chris Gardner against doggedly with the real life and the pursuit of personal dream. This article attempts to analyse Chris’ psychologies from the story line of the movie,these psychologies include confident psychology, optimistic psychology, positive psychology and responsible psychology，then analyse the reasons of these psychology which are the influence of American Dream, the spirit of the Declaration of Independence and the situation of life. Through the analysises, this article tries to show the psychology of morden Americans when they pursue the happy life.

1 Introduction of Film
The Hollywood film The Pursuit of Happyness is a typical inspirational film that adapted from the memoir, The Pursuit of Happyness was written by the famous stockbroker. As one of those single fathers, Chris Gardner fought to raise his young son while being homeless and living on the street of San Francisco. Gardner, who served a brief stint in the Navy and had no education beyond high school, would eventually get back on his feet to become a millionaire stockbroker and business owner. The movie has touched lots of audience at home and abroad and it had a great reputation among the audience. The movie won the 2006 Best Actor Oscar nomination.The film tells a story about how does a sorehead salesman becomes a stock dealer with his hard-working and eventually set up his own investment corporation successfully. The whole story that dominates, with the hero Chris Gardner contend against doggedly with the real life and the pursuit of personal dream, all alone convey Chris’ tenacious character and powerful psychological.
