摘 要

随着改革开放的快速发展，我国与其他国家之间的贸易往来更为频繁，与各国公司之间的商务活动也与日俱增。在国际经贸合作中，为了实现各自的经济利益，与会双方在达成协议后，都需要签订正式的书面文件，即商务合同。该合同中明确规定了贸易双方的权利和义务，具有法律效力，所以我们在制定合同以及翻译的时候要非常严谨。因该合同是与其他国家的公司签订的，就会涉及到两种以上的语言。而在跨国交际中，英语是不可少的交流工具，且商务英语的翻译难度比日常英语更大。由此看来，商务合同英语是全球贸易中不可少的一种语言，我们有必要去认真学习好如何准确地制定和翻译商务英语合同。
本文共分为四个部分。第一部分，先概述了商务合同使用的背景以及意义，说明商务合同的英语翻译是非常重要的。然后在第二部分写了商务合同的概念和英译，简要说明了在英语翻译中应该遵循的原则及注意事项。第三部分着重写了该如何保证合同的准确性，该论文主要从篇章结构、遣词用语、句式结构和时态四个方面来阐述。第四部分对论文做了简要的总结。

Abstract

With the rapid growth of reform and opening up, China has become more and more active in the trade intercourse with other countries, and its economic activities with companies from other countries also increase. In the international economic cooperation, in order to realize their own economic interests, the two sides will sign a formal written contract after reaching an agreement. This business contract fixes the rights and duties of both sides definitely, and it is legally valid. So it should be very rigorous when ones set and translate the English business contracts. What’s more, for this kind of contract is signed with companies from other countries, it absolutely refers to more than one language. In the international association, English is an indispensable tool of communication. And business English is more difficult than common English in translation. Therefore, business contract English is a necessary language in global trade. And it is necessary to know how to keep the accuracy of business contracts when making and translating the contracts.
       The paper includes four parts. The first part simply reviews the background and significance of business contracts. It shows that English translation of business contracts is very important. The second part recounts the concepts and English translation of business contracts. It discusses the principle and things one should know in translation business contracts. Then the third part stresses the ways to keep the accuracy of contracts. It mainly states from the text structure, wording and expression, sentence structure and tense. And the last part makes a conclusion of this paper.
