摘 要

电影是一门特殊的艺术，它表达着导演的主观意图，但更多的是受着大众意识，尤其是主流社会的影响。主流社会的认识和想法都会反映在电影中。电影在经过一百多年的发展达到了空前繁荣的景象，尤其好莱坞，是世界电影的中心。是世界上所有演员向往的地方。
李连杰是闻名世界的功夫皇帝。他武校出身，曾多次获得全国武术冠军。因主演《少林寺》而走红，并因此先后主演了多部诸如黄飞鸿系列的经典武侠电影，创造了中国武侠电影的巅峰时代。然而就在他在中国电影界呼风唤雨的时候，他却选择去好莱坞从头开始去打拼。像新演员一样去排队面试，努力的学习英语。可以说是经历了诸多的困难。和他凭借一部《少林寺》就上位而截然不同。然而他历尽艰辛终于获得了他在好莱坞的第一步电影《致命武器4》。李在里面饰演杀人不眨眼的香港杀手，一副异教徒的装扮。去好莱坞打拼的李连杰、周润发和成龙被称作“好莱坞华人三雄”，然而他们都被限制在动作明星的范围内，接拍的电影永远只是展示功夫。
本文旨在通过对李连杰在美国电影中角色的分析来探讨其所折射出来的西方人对东方人尤其是中国人认识的偏见，并探究该偏见的形成的原因和历史根源，如何来改变现状等方面进行论述，并提出自己的观点。

Abstract

Film is a kind of special art, which express the director's subjective intention. But it usually can be affected by public awareness, particularly in mainstream society. The sense of mainstream society and ideas are reflected in films. After 100 years of development films have reached unprecedented prosperity, in especially Hollywood where is the center of world cinema. All the actors in the world want to go there.
Jet Li is the world-famous Kung Fu emperor. He had been in Kung Fu school since he was very young. He won several national martial arts champion. Due to the performance in Shaolin Temple, he became popular in China. And from then on he was starred in several series of classic martial arts films such as Once Upon a Hero, creating a new Chinese action film record. Though he can do anything he wants in film industry in China, he chose to go to Hollywood to start from zero. When he came to Hollywood, he had to wait in lines for interviews. It took him great efforts to learn English. In all, he had experienced many difficulties. However, he finally got his position in his first Hollywood film Lethal Weapon 4. Jet Li, Chow Yun-Fat and Jackie Chan are called Hollywood Chinese Mitsuo, but they are limited to the scope of action star, the filming of the movie is always just show Kung Fu.
This paper aims at deep discussion of Jet Li’s films the United States to find out why the Westerners have bias on the Asians, especially the Chinese. And search for the reasons for the formation of the prejudices and historical roots. How to change the condition is to be discussed..
